I hate the stock:Wear too fast, runflat, suck in the rain.
My all thime fav Michelin pilots I have had on ever car and bike for years.: long life, stiff, sticky as hell, great in the rain. lows: take a while to warm up and deadly when cold.
There is an eight (8) page review in C&R December issue concerning 11 different tires. Several of the marks and models that have been recommended by members are included. They didn't thest them on vettes, but they ran them all on the same car. I feel it is a good presentation worth a read.
Michelin PS2s are now being made in both 245/40-18 and 285/35-19 (the rears just came out about 2-3 weeks ago and don't show up on any of the major distributor websites yet). I ordered a set from Discount Tire last week and the salesman didn't believe me until he called Michelin. Hopefully, they'll be in tomorrow.
Goodyear just came out with a GS-D3 EMT that fits the rear (standard on the Ferrari F430). If they make one that fits the front wheel, that will be the tire for me.
I went with the GY F1 non run flats because of availability. Big Improvement over the run flats. My favorite tire on my C4 was Michelins but I also got good service from Kuhmos

I think these are the dry/wet version.
Comments?
Just put a set of the BFG KDW2 on, seem to work well, only have about 200 miles on them, almost exclusively city driving. While I can't personally comment of how good they are, I also did some research and concluded these were a well received tire from members of the forum.
