I havent installed it, BUT I took a look at the installation directions on their website, and they loook pretty self explanatory. My only pain point would be their recommendation to weld the slip over points as I am not handy with a torch.
I really like that they only have the 2 outlets ( i really hate the dual outlets per muffler OEM and most other aftermarkets).
I have always been a fan of the flowmaster sound and would love to have your impressions of how these mufflers sound (perhaps a sound clip) after you get them on. I am curious how they sound on the inside of the car as well.
Just ordered mine today, they say a "special" 50 series mufller. For the previous post, did you do the install yourself? If you go to the flowmaster web site, which soundclip is the closest to your system?
Anything will be better than stock if you want a deeper rumble. Hence the reason i went with the flowmasters. Not to mention it's a direct fit bolt-on and I got the system brand new for $350 bucks, can't beat that. I was trying to get the most for the least $$$, and my past experience with flowmaster has been great. Go to their websit and listen to the 50 series sound clips, specifically the delta flows, that should be close to the c6 system rumble they tell me.
Also keep in mind a corsa system as previously mentioned will cost you triple the amount of a flowmaster system. I've heard corsa systems and they dont quite have that flowmaster rumble. Some people do love the corsa's though.

I just had Corsa Sports installed by COH last week and I love the way they sound and look. I have Flow masters on My Challenger and they are great on it but not for my every day driver just to damn loud.
Hell, just go to Performancecenter.com and it is $405 shipped! $350 if you have one of thier cupons from being a previous customer.
About them being too loud, it depends on what mufflers and what vehicles. I had them on my Charger, and they were the best sounding exhaust I ever had done, and it was cheap and fit perfectly with no drone. These are the 50 Delta series which are considerably quiter than their other mufflers. Plus there is plenty of room up front for resonators where the H-pipe meets up with the headers if you need quiter, and then they are still at least half of any other exhaust out there in price.
Now them not flowing well, not that I am a Flowmaster spokesman, but a lot of people give them poor marks. I have read reviews and seen dynoes where Flowmaster made the best power gains, and if they flow so poor, I don't know how they would come in first. I have also seen dyno days where the flowmaster made exact power gains as the other name brands.
