Would you guys recommend that, if I went with the LPE 427 naturally aspirated package, that I would need new or upgraded brakes in the C6? And same question with the wheels, is there a consensus that it would be smart to go ahead and get the "mnii-tubs" to minimize wheel spin?
Thanks as well for the other recs. I've read nothing but good things about A&A, although there not as close to me here in Tennessee I may give them a call. And I have given some thought to the Magnuson and Procharger superchargers, which seems a little less "invasive" but clearly give competitive HP gains. As I mentioned, of the two I would lean toward the Magnuson because of the idling noise of the Procharger although the performance numbers of the Procharger are clearly better. But again, in my present situation I'll probably just go with the 427, opting against the twin turbo just because I'm not sure I could safely handle so much power.
Well, it would be a daily driver, but would like that burst of speed to be able to dispose of the neighbor's Porsche 911 that I'm always hearing about. 'Course, the Vette may do that without mods but -- you know, I'd like it to be quite impressive.
