Default Which Priority Start; Standard or Pro Max for C6

I am considering to buy a Priority Start. Have all of the GM options but no aftermarket electronics on my C6 at the moment. Although the Standard seems to be more than good enough to do the job, I was wondering if there would be any advantage to installing the Max Pro instead. Any information / advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

After reading up on the features of each, I decided on the Priority Start Pro.

I installed the standard Priority Start. Seems more than sufficient for the task.

Mine has come in handy 4 or 5 times since installation.

I called and asked before I got mine, and they told me to go with the standard one. According to what they told me, the Pro version is mostly for police, rescue, and other vehicles where accessories like radios, lights, and power equipment are being used without the vehicle running. I think the pro version in cases like these will keep the power on longer and with all the electronics in the C6, I was afraid that the pro version might be less sensitive and allow the battery to run down further than it should. I don't know if that is necessarily true but I didn't want to take the chance. The tech on the phone sounded like this was one of those times where you shouldn't just buy the most expensive one because it may not work right. You are supposed to choose the right one for the right application. In this case, I think that's the standard model since the pro model is tailored more for vehicles like patrol cars and ambulances.

I agree with Mike and bought the standard one.

I got the pro max thinking more is better, it does the job, but might be an overkill. Although havent noticed any downside in performance.

One DBS so far.

Got the Deltran Battery Tender, but the Priority Start is next ..............unless GM comes through first.
