3" Corsa

I spoke with Corsa USA today and they (he) confirmed they are coming out with a 3" system for C6. Probably available late February. I think I'll wait till then.

The guy who is having it test fitted on his Z said that the tone was lower. He posted a short clip down in Z06.

Deeper sound

That's right, Corsa said it would produce a deeper, throatier sound because of the difference in resonance.

Did they mention anything about drone resonance for this new pipe?

I doubt that they will advertise any drone factors but the Corsa original set up has been noted to have minimal drone.

I'd like to hear this new system as well. A deeper no drone system my just be the ticket (no pun intended).

Don't expect and significant HP / torque increase with any stock set up cat back only sound.

No drone is pretty much their corporate battle cry and I would be very surprised if it had any. I have the sports now and can confirm no perceptible drone to my ears with that system. As an aside in general when diameter increases so does sound volume. It makes sense that corsa MIGHT position these as being (a little?) louder than the current sport system. When I inquired they said they were not ready to comment on the systems relative volume compared to the sports.
