Another A6 potential problem
I have experienced today twice what I think might be a problem with my A6 transmission. Both times I was using the paddles to down shift into 2nd gear and as it shifted the engine revved 1000-1500 RPM higher, which was followed by a hard gear change. I know that it is supposed to rev match the shifts, but this is the first time this has happened to me. It didn't feel right at all. I didn't notice this happening at all when driving in automatic D or S mode today either.
Has anyone else had this happen to them or does anyone have any thoughts?

Nope, my A6 shifts like the perverbial Timex. In fact, I ran the dog poop out of it driving up FM 308 to Maypearl this afternoon from Leroy. Have you had the ATF fluid level checked ?
