OK iam having problems to much talk to many diffrent story i really want to get a catback this week still dont know if i should go with borla stingers which i love the sound but i dont know how it sounds insid or 2
corsa sport no drone but everyone says dosent sound like a v8 american car sounds like a v6 or 3 do lg headers and x pipe hight flow cats stock muffler get power but dont know how good or bad they will sound need help please
I would hold off and try and listen to the various exhausts before buying. 1200 is not a small investment. I personaly like the corsa and it does not sound like a v6. to me it soundls like an expensive v8 euro v8 osund if you will. If that does not float your boat so be it. i believe all the other exhasuts drone to some degree.
Not only is it not a small investment, but it is a complete rip off. $700 was too much for the C5 cat back, the C6 is shorter and costs more???We're being gauged. I am staying stock, there is no HP gained by spending the $1,200.
Do you have headers? If not, just get them, your sound will change dramatically and you'll gain 20-30 HP.

with the 1-1.5k you waste on headers, the 750-1000 you waste on cat back plus the 400 hundred on intake + 100's in tuning you should just go cam longtubes and gears and smoke 90% of the people out there or be slower and spend more.

After hearing a few of these exhaust systems on mostly stock C6's "in person" (some with headers and some w/out) I found the following: For sound: GHL: exhaust sounds the deepest (muscle car sound). Borla: A close second, sounds deep/low rumble. Corsa sport: More euro sounding (high pitched). Not my style for a V8. B&B bullets: Bad 2 the bone sound!! But def will get attn from the law.Least expensive! Looks:
GHL and Corsa are better looking (for a system with mufflers) IMHO.
Headers:
You get what you pay for... LG long tube Have these (still in box) and am glad I waited. Sound bad a$$, nice low end torque, has merge collectors for proven HP/TQ increase, (also requires 2000 camaro LS1 exh gaskets to accomodate larger ports), easy install.
Dynatech "Supermaxx" HP/TQ numbers close to LG's, nice sound, easy install.
I waited/saved to get the LG's and happy I did. They go on next week and will post before/after (header install) dyno results.
