BTW, should you decide to do any mods, the best functional mod for the C6 is a good set of longtube headers w/highflow cats. Not only will you gain around 30 hp at the rear wheels, the stock exhaust note seems to develope a very nice deep rich baratone sound with no noticeable interior drone at highway speeds.

If I ultimately do long tubes I will likely keep the stock cat back as well, thanks for the info.
