Default Tuners in TN

I am wanting to install LG LT headers, Corsa exhaust, and Vortex Ram Air CAI on 05 C6. I am a concerned that the mods will not meet expectations unless I find a competent tuner to balance the planned mods. Any suggestions (preferrably in the Nashville area)?
Looking for mild performance improvement for a daily driver C6.

I asked the same question under the Southeast Regional forum a few weeks ago. I have a 05, Z51 that I plan on adding Kooks headers, x-pipe, GHL exhaust, Breathless Performance Vortex CAI, need to switch rims (WCC wheel exchange), plus a tune.

I received a couple of replies:

The Performance Garage in Smyrna. Two people indicated that they did good work and trusted them. They have a website but it's not fully up. I sent an email to them from the address posted on the site but it was returned "undeliverable". If I ever get a reply I'll post their response under this thread.

Dragons Breath Performance in Knoxville. It would be a couple of hours away for us but they are a supporting forum member and I've seen numerous posts indicating they do great work. Based on forum comments it looks like members from several states take their cars there for work.

I'm leaning toward making the drive to Knoxville just based on forum comments and the website. I think Dragons Breath may be a bit more established than The Performance Garage. I'm still going to check out Performance Garage when I get home anyway. As large as Nashville is I can't believe there aren't more tuners out there. If you hear something let me know! I'm stuck in Afghanistan a few more months but plan on making the mods as soon as I get back. (jjv7109@yahoo.com)

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. Although I have not put much effort into finding a Nashville area tuner, I too am surprised at the limited availability of top notched full service performance shops in the area. There seems to be plenty of people that love cars and have money to spend in my area. Sounds like a business opportunity to me....

I've never been to the Performance Garage, but the few conversations where their name came up indicated good results from their customers. May try to drop by shortly and check'm out.

If you head out to Smyrna post something here letting us know or drop me an email. My folks are keeping my car for me in their basement with my dad's '67 so she's got good company for now. I haven't even seen my car yet. Ordered for museum delivery before I received my mobilization orders. My folks drove up and got to participate in all the festivities in my place. Anyway, as soon as I get back I'm wanted to make the mods.

I grew up in Nashville but have been away since high school. I seem to recall downtown on Broadway was a speed shop, maybe Mike's Speed Shop or Tennessee Speed Sport? Anyway if you're downtown on broad between the interstate and the split for west end you may keep your eye out.

Thanks! JV

It was Tennessee Speed Sport, on WestEnd. Its now a bank. TSS relocated to the Rivergate area. If I can get by Performance Garage, I'll post a report. Stay safe.

I had my BMW 330i dyno'd at Performance Garage, and they seemed pretty good. The shop was full of C5s having various mods done. It's at least worth checking them out.

I'm not sure how you guys feel about traveling to Alabama, but Scott Culbert owns Gen3Performance.net. he will be tuning my car when it arrives.
