Default Someone, please educate me

I've been reading lately within this forum about Torque Management (TM). Would some kindly review the following assumptions I've made from my reading and correct me if I'm off-base (No, this is not a test, and you will not be graded )
1. The TM function cannot be disabled by turning off the Traction Control, the Active Handling, or driving in the Competitive Mode.
2. The TM function uses timing and throttle retards to reduce engine power.
3. The only way to adjust or completely disable the TM is through tuning.
4. The TM is the reason I can't due the smokey burnouts as seen in all the magazines.
5. The car would accelerate faster without TM, using one's right foot as the controling device.
6. If I disable the TM through a tune, the TM control police will visit my car, and cause all the sensors to default, resulting DBS, bad breath, uncontrolable bowels, and all my hair to fall out

I saw no throttle table but the timing retard is definitely there. The tables are labeled as such and simple to get rid of.

Seriously, if I completely disable TM with a tune, which codes might I expect? Thanks.
