Default Header install question please help

I am going to purchase a set of LG long tubes. What is the best method of installation as to not recieve all of codes for this installation. I did a search and could only find people putting up times for before and after installation. Have people been satisfied with headers in terms of receiving errors and having to debug? Thanks

You should not have a problem with codes; you might get a check engine light, but after a full tank of gas they should clear. I'm not an expert, but when you buy them from LGMotorsports be sure to get a name so you can call with questions if you have trouble. Lou, Louis, Anthony, Sean etc are all great folks and will make your install trouble free. Be assured you are getting the best race worthy headers for the street!!

I installed LG Longtubes with hand tools, a set of car ramps, a floor jack, and jack stands! Easy install. Go through the bottom. It took longer to run the O2 sensor wires than to mount the headers. Be careful to mount these wires away from the exhaust. Use a lift if you have access to one. Would have cut the install time in half!

CEL comes on and goes off intermittenly until the computer relearns itself do to the relocation of the cats (temp changes).

They sound bad *** though and you will pick up quite a bit of torque. My C6 runs better than it did with OEM manifold!!

Yea I am going to get Jeff at Carolina Auto Masters to install them and do a tune session for the car. I think it should come out pretty strong for the street. Thanks for the responses
