Why does it show two different option. One for left, one for right?

You have to put a screw driver in the slot and turn it a 1/4 turn. The visor will fall out. C5 and C6 are the same process.

Can somebody that has done this give me step by step instructions. I tried turning the plastic part with a flat head screw driver but the darn thing won't budge. What am i doing wrong?

Add me to the club of Homelinked 1SX'ers. Just finished the install, works like a charm.

Bought mine from Valvegod (post 19 on previous page). Brand new, still in shrink-wrap. Not as cheap as used, but a good bit cheaper than even the lowest price dealer. New for less than new, works for me. Thanks Shaun!

oscarav098....I was struggling to get my visor off, but remembered these excellent instructions posted over a year ago by David Lasic:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=984286

As he says, you just hold the screwdriver in the slot, braced by the visor arm, as you turn the visor....it will come loose. Thanks Dave!

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but thought that might be better than starting all over.

Valvegod - I pme'ed you.

Does anyone else have a homelink visor and/or compass mirrors? I am interested in both.

Maybe someone can explain further. It seems that all you guys are doing is changing the visor out. Is that all there is to it? Is there another part/transmitter that goes with the homelink that has to be installed or is it nothing more than changing out the visor?

What is involved in changing to the compass mirror?

Thanks!

Referring to this thread...is there a mirror made with the compass AND homelink so i would only have to replace one item?
