Believe it or not, the wife is going to have to break it in for me.
Looks like I may not be able to return until June now. But that's OK, Rummy says the Army is not over stressed!!
You'll have more than enough power; NOW GET YOU SOME STOP
My recommendations would be rotor's and pads; at least put some hawk or PFCs on there.
Oh, I forgot to ask; are these corrected numbers

Since he's going to give you the key fob, maybe you can spring for the gas? Jagcvette -- Godspeed while away and look forward to that ride on your return!
Here's the package details: linkee
New C6 ZO6 with headers lays down 483 RWHP
Hmm guess I answered my own question....
So 483 with headers ... the 403 package is close to that ... but then with the weight difference....hmm almost worth saving up to buy a Z06..
What if you SC the 403 package?

Just go read the c6 Z06 section sometime and you'll find all sorts of arguments about the c6 versus the Z06, modding, etc.
Also, the horsepower numbers provided by LPE are for a tame cam, which I have in my 403. My car idles at 650 rpm, although I have headers so you can hear the valve train. Without those headers I'd bet most folks wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't stock.
Indeed, by way of comparison, 21st Century put a "mid" cam in midnite902's 403 and it got to (and just beyond) the magical 500 rwhp mark. link
There's a LOT of room to be had by changing cams, but not everyone is into that. After all, I have no plans to increase my cam (ha ha, ya never know........)

But lay into the gas and it builds speed very, very quickly and actually has a nice sounding bite to the exhaust, guess the headers open it up a little bit.
The greatest thing about Steve's car is that it looks totally stock and nearly sounds stock. Without the headers, the sound would be indistinguishable from stock.

My best dyno is 518 rwhp and 498 rwtq.
I prefer the removeable roof (southern California) with the C-6 and the Z-51 ride over the Z-06. The car looks stock, kind of a sleeper until you hear it.
It has easily pulled away from 996 twin turbo's,a Lambo Gallardo, a Bentley Continental GT (from a roll) and a new Z-O6 just to name a few. The car is very fast.
The idle at 900 rpm's is a little lopy, but thats what I wanted.
I am very satisfied with the package and performance
