Default Racemesh grill?

All, I'm thinking of adding the Racemesh front screen to my LMB C6. For those who have done it, is it a quality piece? How is the install and are you happy with this mod? Pics would be appreciated. Also, who sells them at the best prices?

I ordered one from a sponsor a few days ago they sent me my money back. Claims that RaceMEsh is going through some growing pains and unable to fill orders for a several weeks.

I have both the front and side pieces. Great quality and easy to install with the exceptional instructions with pictures. I could not be happier.

I am looking for a front grille that matches the GM Accessory Rear mesh Exhaust plate (so the say) and the side fender Mesh with Chrome spears for my c6.

Is Race Mesh the one? The photos did not look like a match to me.

I ordered the grill and side screens from Mercado Industries.
Guess I'll see how they turn out.

Um - how about the gutter screen from HomeDepot; it's like $3bucks.

http://www.gutterscreen.net/best_gut...cost/price.htm

for an example - the steel ones at homedepot are in the roofing sections.

And while you're at Home Depot why not pick up some plywood to construct an intake box and heater duct for a free flow exhaust?
I installed Racemesh on my C6 -- high quality and a perfect fit.

Dude - come on that's about ridiculous. Everyone knows that the wood may catch fire if you do that in the engine compartment. If you use duct-tape to fashion the intake-filter-box and cover it in 5minute epoxy you'll have a better looking and longer lasting CAI.

On a side note; if you are really putting it for "racing" then that's a bit-o-cash for a grill that would take damage; hence the on the cheap grill.

Finally, the racemesh is very good looking...

How much time do you want to spend on makeing it fit perfiectly ??

It will get very dirty and filled with grass and road clagg. Which that is the reason for the screen, to help keep the radiator clean.

I would not get a polished one, but a black one or natureal gun metal color - forget keeping the screen clean, that is an oxymoron.

Don't hold your breath, no one has them in stock. I ordered mine directly from racemesh last week. He told me about 15 business days turnaround time.
