I've searched on the forums but I can't find much about this. For those of you that actually take your car to track days... have you had any brake issues? Are the ducts required? LG? DRM? How do they attach to the spindle? Or the stock duct work?

i upgraded to the eradispeed rotors and PFC-z pads from c5stein *tbyrne* has a group purchase now.
I also added Castrol SRF per suggestion from LG and Tech Inspector at event.
Braking is cool and clean; anti-warping warranty on the eradispeed's is nice. I'm thinking about stainless steel lines and quick bleeders before spindle ducts as an FYI.
To attach them to the existing duct work, you cut off the end of the duct to eliminate the curve. The DRM piece slides over the remaining piece and is attached with screws. The other end screws into the frame.
I'm using them without spindle ducts. I used the supplied zip ties to "aim" the flex hose in the right direction, and the wheel speed sensor passes through it, and helps keep it close to the rotor. I may get some spindle ducts later, but I don't really see them offering much, if any benefit over my current setup.
I haven't had any brake issues yet. But I installed the cooling ducts along with SS lines and some good fluid of course, before I hit the track. I put on some speed bleeders too. Many people prefer some type of vacuum or pressure bleeder, but I really like using these valves. Either way is good.
I've run five days at the track. Aside from consuming two full sets of brakes (front and rear) I've expereinced no fade problems with OEM Z51 pads. I'm also using Valvoline Sythetic Brak Fluid which is a DOT hybred.
