My 403 motor was 15k installed and it came with almost 100 more hp and a warranty 
If you add the Z06 clutch, fly wheel and balancing it was 16k.

Great idea, should be covered by warranty too. Tell us any problems you may encounter, I'm sure you will enjoy it. I too have the LPE 403 which has little more power, but I also don't have an extra, brand new, LS2 that you can now save or sell!! If you put headers on the LS7, it will really wake that sucker up, as if you really need to.
