Default LS2 MAF question

Just doing some research and wondering what size LS2/7 MAF is, also if possible max frequency and flow?

This is to see if C6 MAF can be made to work on C5 with supercharger.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

The C5 2001+ LS1 and C6 LS2 MAF are identical. The LS6 MAF is the same unit without a screen. The Ls7 is a different sensor with no housing.

LPE just puts a ported and polished throttle body on their engine packages.

Thanks guys, I was hoping LS2 may have larger them my 85mm MAF, especial when considering 90mm TB. On my system MAF is going to be most restrictive piece do to draw through installation.

Any detail on LS7 MAF, or is it still 85mm?

Thanks,
Mike

Skunk,

If you really feel the MAF is a restriction, maybe you should junk it and tune the car in speed density.................you will probably get a better tune!

You could also use a FORD MAF as they also work on a 5 volt reference. You would just need to know the scaling. All the MAF is, is a simple measuring input. The PCM just reads the voltage to determine load.

I will eventually move to speed density. C5/6 PCMs expect a frequency and not voltage proportional to mass flow. Ford uses voltage if I’m not mistaken.

Mike,

The LS2 maf is scaled from 1000 Hz to 12200 Hz with the calibration from 2.95 g/sec to 511.99 g/sec.
