Thanks guys, I was hoping LS2 may have larger them my 85mm MAF, especial when considering 90mm TB. On my system MAF is going to be most restrictive piece do to draw through installation.
If you really feel the MAF is a restriction, maybe you should junk it and tune the car in speed density.................you will probably get a better tune!
You could also use a FORD MAF as they also work on a 5 volt reference. You would just need to know the scaling. All the MAF is, is a simple measuring input. The PCM just reads the voltage to determine load.

I will eventually move to speed density. C5/6 PCMs expect a frequency and not voltage proportional to mass flow. Ford uses voltage if I’m not mistaken.
