they are heavier, but not enough to feel once installed. The weight is almost directly over the rear axle, so would actually improve weight bias.

Hopefully they have more exhaust flow to offset any weight gain.

The weight difference is about what 3 gallions of gas come to.

Do you notice much of a difference when you use or add gas?

in his defense, the fuel tanks are in front of the rear axles, but the mufflers are behind the rear axles. Therefor, it would be more like 3.1gal of gas

of course I'm just being silly

Your post said that you needed advice. What is the question? You want to know if you should go back to stock?

Did some research. The Corsa Sports weigh 3.5lb per side total than stock. 7lbs. And I've read a review from "Vette" magazine, June 2005. Apparently, the system is good for about 13RWHP as tested by MTI racing on a stock Z-51 coupe. I believe Lingenfelter testing also confirmed this.

Default Question here...

If you added a Corsa X-Pipe to the Corsa Sports, leaving the OEM cats and exhaust manifolds on, could that actually make the car "feel" slower than when it had the H-Pipe(oem) on? I know they are used with headers but can the X-Pipe have a negative effect on the "power" feel and actually reduce torque causing the car to "feel" slower than before at WOT?

Gasoline weights 6.216 Lb. per gallon there for 3 gallons would weigh 18.648#

I know when I put them on, they felt like they were much more than the stockers. I read somewhere that the difference was about 15 lbs.
That is why I said about 3 gallons of gas. In plain English not a big deal for MOST drivers out there. The major difference which I like is the "no drone".
