I've had this problem twice in the last 2 days. This is not a missed shift or poor shifting technique. If you miss a shift it will go into 5th or ouch 1st or grinds and jams at neutral, but this goes into 3rd without any drama just as smooth as any other shift but the gear is not there. Something is wrong here! I shift this car the same way I shifted my c5 and never had a problem with it. This thing goes into the gate but third is not there!

Yup That what i am Saying...Havent been able to try the technique yet..So Sorry i havent been back to respond...By this coming weekend i should have a respond if it worked..Thanks again..

The gating after the shift intall is great, The shifts take more effort but are sort and precise. No rattles, I used the bushing that came with the B&M rather than switch to softer ones like some do.
