I am willing to bet that he meant 6-spd. in the traditional sense - although you are right, 6-spd. paddle shift auto (new for 2006)

Does it seem that they missed the point of the post???
Does this happen on uneven roads? if the road is good and you dont leave from redline you shouldnt be getting so much hop.
Anyway its faster do leave at 3k revs and then full throttle

Realistically, this is caused by the bushings in the suspension. Some people claim relief by using different shocks, but a set of stiffer bushings directly attacks the problem.
Once wheel hop problem is solved, the car will go from slipping under the contact patch to sliding under the contact patch without all the hopping, but it will not accelerate any faster, just allow you to drive through this situation without the hopping.
So, sooner or later you will simply have to learn to feel the suspension with the accelerator pedal anyways....

Bushings and shocks are supposed to be the way to go. It is a problem in both manuals and autos. Just get out of the gas to stop it and keep from busting something. I sure would like to see someone put together a package to defeat the wheel hop.

I have been told that wheel hop isn't a problem with the F55 suspension because each shock "reads" the situation 1000 times a second and adjusts accordingly. Does anyone know if the MSRC shocks can actually do that?

I am talking about 6 speed manuel and it wheel hops at any rpm you bring it out at or you nose it over it does it when you hit second but only for a second or two I have tried changing air pressure but that doesn't help I have owned 6or 7 vettes first one in a lond time with wheel hop
