Jag - I dont think that will be a huge problem...my biggest concern is not getting my greasy fingers in the 02 sensors. The instructions say on every page 02 SENSORS ARE VERY SENSITIVE DO NOT TOUCH, GET LINT, DIRT, OR ANY OTHER PARTICLE NEAR THEM.
Its like handling a bomb or something..
Mayo- I think i am going to be there around 0900. Not sure what you are doing Sat. I am getting a good nights sleep friday and then out early...its going to be cold so after I install them I am sure the cabin will warm up!
PS The Big Dig GREAT INVESTMENT!!! With that money you could have built a rail in the clouds and put an Xbox in every railcar...

juan..i don't forsee any problems this saturday. just bring along a torque wrench, some anti sieze, and a pack of disposable gloves and we'll be fine. i'm guessing 5 hours or so.
Installing Headers Like Kooks Will It Cause Check Engine Lights Or Any Problems When Going To Dealer
I installed Kooks 1 3/4 Lt headers myself. Didn't throw any codes and shouldn't have any problems at a dealer if you aren't having a problem with that part of the car.

Got my 360 at a small game store attached to a Hollywood Video, someone had it on reserve and hadn't shown up to pick it up. They had another 1/2hour (technically, but were 24hrs late) and I told the manager I had cash, he sold it to me.
so what happened w/all the peeps that were going to come help us? we only had one cool kid show up w/a c3. anyhow- the install went very well, took about 4 hours give or take a little. one of the easiest header installs i've done at this point. i didn't understand the whole "8 hour job" bull****.
As far as a dyno....not yet. I am going to wait for the cams to get in the car then take it somewhere with the new HPTUner editing software to tune the car up good and right..
Dude, it sounds awesome! I've got a set of LGs that should be here any day now. I'm debating whether to just put them in myself or take them to a shop. I kept telling myself I wasn't going to work on this car after all the time my last car robbed from me, but it seems so easy
Did you have to drill through the tunnel plate for the O2 extension wires for the Dynatechs?

i tried dood, i just couldnt get out of class. i will be there for the next install for sure.
The next may be seredipity ...where are your LT's mayo?
What the hell are you doing today I am going to go out driving before traffic gets sick..
I didnt drill through the tunnel plate. I can see why some people would. I just used the little connectors that came with the header kit to secure them real good to the tunnel plate.

Ah, so it's just so you can route the cables above the plate so they don't hang down? That's cool then. Makes it a lot easier.
I probably will end up just doing my headers then. Hopefully they'll arrive this week. I ordered from LG directly.

my LG's are here. actually, at Tony's, i had them shipped directly to his shop before i thought i about potentially doing the install myself. but my vette is still gonna be in the body shop until wednesday getting the frame rails repaired from where the @ssholes who stole my tires dropped it on cynder blocks
definitely want to hear your set-up in person. i have to head out to a "brunch" (so gay ) this morning with the fiance's parents, so i wont be around until after noon sometime. if i miss you, i can always roll my renta-hyndai down to the belvoir area and meet up with you later. let me know.
