intake manifold (plenum) that sits over the heads. it sits behind the CAI and throttle body.

Here you go

http://www.lingenfelter.com/Merchant...Category_Code=

It replaces the black intake manifold on top of the motor. You will need to make adjustements to the firewall or the intake manifold itself. LPE sells a kit to modify the firewall and it fairly straightforward and simple.

Such confusion could only happen in the corvette world.

Intake....not your fault though.

Actually a local BBQ dealer sells some models he calls...cooking stations.

Here are the questions you need to ask next:

How much power will the intake manifold / Fast intake produce?
How does it compare to a CAI?
How 'bout the two together?

I'm listening too...

Also, will this affect the warranty?
Is it compatible with other intakes?
Compatible with supercharger?
Is reprogramming necessary after installation?
Dyno results?
1/4 mile results?

spoke with a local tuner about this very matter, and he says that it really depends on the dealer (like all mods). he considers it a fairly straightforward bolt-on, but not as widely overlooked or ignored by dealers as things like CAI's, catbacks, and headers. for whatever that's worth. *shrug*

That's what I'd suspect. Getting awefully close to the actual block.

Stock throttle body will have to be replaced on supercharged engine.

Most stock LS2's pick up around 12-15 rwhp with an FAST intake manifold swap. Some guys sand off the logo and spray paint them flat black and they look factory. Gotta have a good eye to spot the stealthy ones.

BTW, I still have a FAST intake for sale.
