I'm looking to do the same. Have seen Black & Silver CF but no brushed Alum or SS. I did install a Black CF facing kit that included the doors - it looks sweet. I've seen the silver CF dash kit - nice but it's a little too Bling for this 57 yr old.
We want a replacement for the center console POS at a reasonablly good price that will not scratch when you breath on it. Do not want carbon fiber (boys toys) and black wood is a bit too bling.
it is an over lay, i orderd it today so i will show you all how it looks when i get it. I thought about waiting for the console your talking about but i relized that i would prob end up getting a ding in it or somthing considering it would be thin and all, hell it would prob even dent while trying to pop it into place with those clips. Also imagin how much it would cost to bend and everything because its not being put into a mold like plastic. They charge 300 for repainted plastic consoles that are body colored. I wounder how much it would charge to take it to get painted myself. I am sure the alum one would be somthing crazy like $500
My extensive search found NO one piece aluminum or one piece wood replacement waterfall or dash surrounds. Lots of Companies making stick on flat pieces in almost any color or material and lots of repainted stock pieces but the $800 repacement Carbon Fiber is the only one piece replacement I've found.
I gave up looking and rattle can painted my waterfall, pods and door push button surrounds satin black. IMO it looks much better than the bright Silver paint on the waterfall and pods and the fake Chrome/Carbon Fiber on the push buttons. A $4 can of paint, some 400 wet or dry sandpaper and a few hours R&R and the dash looks much better.

Just putting the interior back together, so excuse how it looks.
You might want to do a test with "Krylon Special Purpose Anti Skid" spray paint (about $5.00 / can) It has a sand or texture finish and is used on ladder rungs and surfaces to prevent slipping. Based on application, doubtful it would rub off. I did a top coat of matte clear acrylic which softened the overall finish. The end result comes close to the stock panels. Still need to do the pods. Dash kit is from "Superior Dash", the only one that has face plates and door trim. If you're looking at Aluminum trim, then the console should be painted black.
