I had my Chevy dealer upgrade my CD to MP3. Also around the same time, I cancelled my Onstar. Now, when using my navigation, I can't get the navigation to speak the directions (turn right etc). Is this suppose to work like this or did cancelling my onstar do this?

I am not 100% certain, however, I believe that the Nav. Sys. is independent of On-Star.

This is due to the nav update reseting all of your pervious settings !
The nav is completly seperate from the onstar
I hav only the nav ! and the voice works fine !
Go into the settings and turn the voice volume up. If you're moving, it's the only option available. Or you can say something like "level up" (can't remember the exact command) after hitting the voice recognition button.

for some reason the MP3 upgrade on yours turned the volume on the nav off..would check that before talking to dealer
