i have tested B&M hurst breathless performance and even a experimental shifter in my c6 i have been working with a hurst developement guy here in GA and the hurst and the breathless out perform the b&m so make sure you do some research before you buy it
Save your money and buy the Callaway! I've gone through all of them and the worst was the Hurst. Callaway is different they require you to add RTV silicone for a gasket between the shifter and the transmission. I still have the B&M plastic bushing in mine - I'm thinking of removing it and doing a custom RTV one in place of it.
Well, after a week of driving, the buzz from my shifter is becoming very loud. At this rate, something has got to be wearing! Under part throttle acceleration, the shifter sounds like a chainsaw inside the car. I can grap the shifter handle through the boot and feel the viberation, and if I grab it tight, I can dampen the noise, and it becomes much quieter. Has anyone else had this problem? Perhaps I have a defective unit?
Will be installing mine this weekend and will let you know. I do not plan on changing the bushings, as per the instructions it states, the noise will increase with the included bushings.

So, your's buzzes, too! Heck, I sure wish I'd known this before purchasing the dang thing. Do all the aftermarket shifters buzz? This kind of crappy engineering/workmanship drives me crazy!
A word of warning to those changing their shifters, the last time I checked the stock rubber bushings cannot be purchased seperately, they are only sold with the entire shifter assembly! They're fairly soft rubber and can tare on removal, and in some cases (like mine), are already beaten or torn even before you pull them out.
Also, the B&M aluminum bushings tend to raise the height of the shifter box a tad as compared to the stock setup. I've often wondered if a contributor to the shifter buzz is the tiny alignment change of the shifter rod to the trans caused by the bushings. The shift rod end links don't appear to be any type of flex coupling.
It sounds like leaving the stock bushings in place would be the best solution....BUT.... the B&M shifter has it's own built in rubber vibration isolation (internal O-rings at the bottom half of the shifter) so you'll end up with a very "rubbery" feeling shifter IMO. I have the aluminum bushings in place and the B&M still feels a tad rubbery.
I didn't think mine buzzed but found that at full throttle at the upper RPMs it does buzz. But there is so much going on at that point, I can live with a little buzz.
