Default park in reverse
Does anyone know if You still have to park an 06 manual in reverse to keep from running battery down or did they change it ?

You NO longer have to on the '06 model.

No they took care of that. Now if they would do that for the 05s it would be nice.

I thought this was overkill at first.
Now I do it without thinking.
Most of my 4 spd cars in the 60s & 70s were same way.

Never use reverse in the 06 and no problems yet.
