Default It's Alive! Finally

I finally made the time to get my own car running today. It's been down for about 4 months. I had installed a pretty mean 402 with ETP heads etc a couple of months ago, but sold the motor before I ever got it running.
I started over about a month after that. I catually came very close to selling this motor too, but decided to at least drive it for a while before I sell it.
We just fired it, so I have no driving impressions yet. It should be just plain nasty.
It's a silver 05 Z51 6 speed.
Here's a list of what we've done:
Sleeved LS2 block, 4.130 bore, 4.100 stroke = approx 440 CID 11.5:1 comp
Custom LS7 heads with stainless Manley valves (.100" long) and lots of machine work to make everything fit.
Manley 1.550 solid roller springs
Custom "lash locks"
Custom Jesel rockers
Custom ground Comp solid roller cam. 240 - 244 @.050 , .700" intake lift, .713" exhaust lift, 112 LSA
Crower solid roller lifters.
LS7 intake manifold
42# injectors
Lingenfelter cold air intake
1 7/8" American Racing Headers with custom built merge collector
A&A 3" exhaust system
3.73 gears with hardened output shafts
Hotchkis sway bars
RPS clutch with segmented aluminum flywheel
Nitto R2 tires with C6 Motorsport wheels
I may get it all buttoned up with a base tune in it tomorrow and take it for a spin.
I'll post the results as soon as I can get it on the dyno.

I think "nasty" is the appropriate word. That thing sounds like its going to be a beast. What kind of numbers are you expecting? I'll guess 620 rwhp.

Sounds like a beast. You installed my 402 with the 225 ETP'S (it may be the engine you are referring to above) best dyno was 518/498 and the car is ungodly. I am very happy with the results.

Good luck with the monster

Im very interested and am willing to make the trip out to California from Illinois to see you guys. Thanks, Dave.

As stated above, it's just plain NASTY! Andy fired it up and it sounded as he just woke up the Devil himself!!! I stood with Charlie as Andy let it rip, and the sound just blows your mind away, reminiscent of a dragster funny car....Natural - born thriller.
