If they decide the oil caused the problem, and as long as you are using an oil recommended by AMSOIL (and they do recommend the Series 2000 0w30, and the SAE 5w30 for the C6), you'd be covered by AMSOIL's corporate warranty.

Redline 5w-30 and German Castrol have a high temperature high shear of 3.6, far greater than any other 30 weight oil. Another great choice.
