Default Dyno Today

Just had the car dynoed at Carolina Auto Masters in Durham NC by Jeff. Must say I was extremely impressed and would urge anyone within 4 hours to come and have him tune your car.

I have LG headers and a vararam intake`

hp 372/ tq 367 this was before a tune
390/379 after a tune. I will try to load the graph later tonight. The car pulls extremely strongly through first four gear.

HPtuner, he had just done a Z06 and got 35 rwhp just from the tune. INcredible shall i say. He had a C5 he had just built in the shop that is supposed to put down 900 to the wheels. Had a STS rear mount camaro and about 12 other LT1's and LS1 in the shop that they were working on. He reall knows what he is doing. Great time.

Wow, I only got 355 with dynatech, halltech, corsa sports using the LS2 tune, having it done again on Friday after adding heads/cam/misc. I'm going to ask my tuner about the HP tune vs the LS2 tune.

You picked up 18HP/12TQ .. those are good and reasonable gains!

Dyno's are tuning tools. You guys with lower numbers please keep in mind that dyno's are all over the map in their readings. Unless all cars were dyno'd on the same day, same DA and same dyno the readings will differ. Only matters to 'dyno racers'.

Maybe, but there is something psychological after putting tons of money into the car to enhance HP and the numbers come out disproporate to others. Maybe we have too much totesterone

That is good to know that someone saw the numbers right after I left. The car runs strong and there is someone on here named Beastmasster who has a M3 from around my way that has already told me to step it up. P/W ratio is good and it will hook. Carolina Auto Masters is the place to go and he knows exactly what he doing. My car did 372 with headers and intake before the tune. Then 390 after the tune. Just ordered somemore parts and will have it into 400 rwhp with touching the motor.

Jeff had done mine as well, no headers, but in the upper 360's for HP after the tune (just catback exhaust)

Jeff`s done my TA several times. Very great guy, knows his stuff. I dynoed after an 06 Z06 last thursday at CAM.

Did you have cats or no cats on your x pipe? Also are you manual or auto? Jeff will be getting my C6 once it comes in and I get a couple of mods on her.
