door bumper
i see looking at a new 2006 C-6 corvette GM has used my idea of putting a rubber bumper at the bottom rear corner of the door so the quarter panel do not stick out passed the trailing edge of the door and have the paint blasted off of the front edge of the quarter panel. i guess they took my idea after i showed them the problem and my fix last year at the C-5/C-6 bash. some people on this board said it was not a good idea because it would put a strain on the door. maybe i should have gotten a patent.
