Same here! We used 4th for mine after talking to the dynojet guys for a recomendation since there is no 1:1 with the A6. According to them this will make the cars read a little low on the dyno compared to a car with a 1:1 ratio. 3 to 5 hp low maybe. Here's the before and after mods graphs for my car.
Yes, it was tuned as well. Mods were LG headers w/cats, underdrive pulley. halltech, and LG's executive cam package. Was shooting for 400 RWHP from the get go.
I'm kinda new to this but GM quotes 400 hp (6000 rpm) and 400 ft-lbs torque (4400 rpm) for the LS2. This is at the crankshaft, correct? Has anyone verified this is fairly accurate?
If so, what are the rear wheel delivered numbers? How much power loss is there through the drivetrain?
Finally, how many miles do you need to run the car to get the claimed performance, 2000 miles?
Did mine in 4th gear with 340 miles on it. It only put down 318 RWHP. Let the mods begin!
I dyno'd mine in 4th gear at about 4000 miles and using CA's 91 octane fuel, got 317 HP / 310 torque. We also tried dynoing in 3rd gear, but the number came out incorrectly as there was some tire slippage on the dyno.
