I was wondering if anyone has tried to switch out thier amber turn signal bulbs for clear ones. If so, is it tough to do? Any instructions would be super.

I have done this. It was easy. The stealth bulb is amber, but has a silvered finish on the bulb. When not lit, the bulb looks silver. When lit, it glows amber. I think it improves the looks of the car when the DRL's are not on.

I bought mine at Autozone. They are the Silverstar brand by Sylvania.
i used LED's looks the same in the daylight (night now - pushed open on FOB)
i did not put the load resistor on - so it blinks fast (like a bulb is burned out)
