Bought a used 05 C6 a few days ago and can't get the Heads Up Display to work. I have tried everything to get it to work. Any sugestions. THANKS
Forgive me for asking the obvious, but did you use the + button on the left side of the dash to brighten the display? Could be it's dimmed to the max. If not that, I got nuthin.
Have you checked the fuse for the HUD in the instrument panel fuse block on the passenger's side, under the instrument panel and under the toe-board? If you have the 2005 owner's manual, there's a diagram of the fuse block on page 5-88.

Also the up "^" and down arrows...could be it's not adjusted right for your eye level.
I had this issue 2 weeks ago when I just got my C6. It was the HUD vertical alignment. If you're tall (like I am) push the down arrow button (not the -) and hold it. Near the very bottom of the windshield the HUD will come into view. If you have a high sitting hight you can see the HUD when it's all the way at the bottom of it's vertical adjustment but you can easily drive it off the top and it will disapear.
