Racing for fun? or beating people
what do you think???
It is the testosterone in all of us to be competitive. There is a line there most of us never cross but some guys just take it too far and take all the good fu out of it.
One of the big reasons I sold my 2003 Cobra was I was constantly looking to beat every car I came across. The eternal struggle to beat the NEW Z06, Vipers, etc... was gonna lose me my license or my life or someone elses.
So I traded it for a 350Z, a fun & quick car, but not a race car by any means except for in the twisties. I find myself enjoying driving even on one lane roads where as before all I did was prowl two lane roads looking for prey, but not really enjoying the drive.
Does that make sense?
I still want a NEW Z06 though!
WHY???
Just to say I have the best?
Truth be told, my C6 has more than enough power for me, but I gotta be TOP DOG?
It really is RIDICULOUS:o
It's all about having the biggest wee wee
Just giving an honest opinion on this topic.
Hopefully if/when I get my new Z06 I can drive it to enjoy it and resist the temptation, I think the 350Z is teaching me how to do that.

But, one thing I've learned, if some pimple-faced kid pulls up and wants to try you in his Civic, better believe he probably knows he can take you. There are more that a few ricers running around here that will bust a Z06, much less a C6. Be careful out there.
