map relocation for fast install

is this really necassary it is the first i have read about it

i found it when looking for the fire wall kit from lpe. they had a link to saying it was needed as well. any one know for sure

This piece creates additional clearence at the back of the intake manifold by re-locating the MAP sensor to the front of the intake.

thanks ed i do not have the intake yet so i do not know. is this manditory or does it just reduce the amount of cutting. i have had the old intake off to port it...waste in my opinon but...i guess i didn't pay attention to the map sensor local

It is necessary to relocate the MAP sensor, but you don't necessarily have to use our piece to do it, ours just makes it easy.
