Default Chinese Headers

A friend on the east coast said he just bought a set of headers from a VERY well known maker of headers for the C5s and C6s, and they were made in China, and looked cheap. I won't mention the name of the supplier, because I really haven't seen them myself. Anyone else heard about Chinese headers for the C6?

Guys - I really don't want mention the name, since I haven't seen the headers, and I'm getting this from a buddy, although he is a pretty straight shooter. I would certainly ask where the headers are made if I was ordering a set right now. That's pretty much why I mentioned it here.

You know what's really weird, but now a days I feel like it should be overwhelingly necessary for manucfacturers to make it clear exactly where products have been made. I find it to be very important to me, although it's not important to some it's just my preference to know who makes what I buy

Exactly how I feel! If given the choice between supporting American or foreign (Chinese, or anyone else) workers, I want to support our folks. It's in our best interest to do so.

Can we play hangman? ANy clues such as the first letter, first syllable, or how many consonants? Now the suspense is going to drive us crazy trying to figure it out.

Think I'd rather have a Chinese header than a set made in Mexico. I refuse to eat or buy anything related to or coming from Mexico if I can determine the point of origin. The Chinese can't swim across the Pacific, but the Mexicans can sure walk across the border. Maybe George will do something about that tonight, but, I doubt it.

From a quality stand point I'd prefer Mexico over China if I only could pick from the two.

Nope - he's back east. He might have bought direct, but I'm not sure. He didn't say.
