Anyone using one of these? I'm particularly interested in the X-pipe being used with the stock mufflers. Any feedback would be appreciated.
I believe the X pipe will bolt up to the stock exhaust, you can call Corsa technical @ 1800-486-0999 to find out for sure. I'm just wondering why do you want to use the X pipe with your stock exhaust? The only reason I installed the X pipe is to reduce the popping noise from the Corsa sport system. Plus, I don't think you will gain any hp/tq with the X pipe.

I had it on my stock system with the Sports too, as in the same case with 65vetteC6, and after 50 miles of normal driving or so, the computer seemed to relearn itself and it actually drove better, I believe. At least by feel it did. But last week I went to Melrose headers, hi flo cats and their x-pipe and now I have one corsa x-pipe for sale-lol. Only put maybe 3-400 miles on it since I had it installed. By the way, and this thread answer wasn't to sell you this pipe but if you're interested, let me know and I will make it worth your while to buy it from me and you pay the shipping. But in any case, no matter who you buy it from, you should do it. The exhaust just feels like it flows better.
How much do you want for the X pipe? I'm thinking about getting Corsa Sports, but to get the whole systen, I have to wait a few months until my finances get in better order....
I am awaiting the computer to re-learn; as is there is more burble on deacceration than with the h-pipe...not what I expected.
Good point, I have the X pipe with Sports and haven't done a re learn and have only had the car for a week. Is there a quick disconnect on C6 battery???
Thanks for the replies. The reason I was considering this is that I don't like the sound of the exhaust under acceleration and would be happier if it was quieter and smoother sounding. The x-pipe should allow pulsing thru both pipes and be quieter?

Notwithstanding your explanation, I'm still not sure you would gain much by installing the X-pipe with the stock mufflers. The stock set up is pretty darn quiet as is. I recently installed Sports with X-Pipe in my '05/MN6/Z51 after a good discusison with the Corsa tech folks. They walked me thru the changes in decibel levels between the stock, Touring, Sports & Sports with X-Pipe. The last was my choice & I'm real happy with the set up. The stock exhaust on acceleration sounded like a Caddy Esplanade....the Sports with the X-Pipe sound street mean on acceleration, but mellow on cruise & no dreaded "drone"....just my personal 2 cents!
