C6 Hud
I got a call from a friend who is thinking about buying a 2005 C6 that does not have the HUD.
He wants to know if I'd help him install a HUD in the C6 if he buys the car.
I told him I didn't know if it could be done on a C6 like you can on a C5, but I'd look into it and get back with him.
I have done several searches on many Corvette sites and can't seem to find an answer. Anyone know if this can be done on a C6?

The windshield does not make a difference. I added a HUD on my 99 Grand Prix GTP that didn't have one and to my 99 C5 that didn't have one and I was able to see everything perfectly.

I don't think the C6 IC has the ports for the controls and display like the C5 IC did. It may be do able, but at considerable cost. C5 guys can add the HUD for just at $350. I've seen the add on HUD's w/o the so called "special" windshield and I couldn't see any difference, in fact some claim it's brighter.
Looks like GM didn't want folks adding options or accessing DIC codes that C5 folks can do. Is that progress???
