Default Wiring Diagram Color Codes?

Help...I need to know which of the back up light wires is positive/negative. One wire is black and green the other a lite green. If possible a referreal to a wiring diagram with color would be helpful.
thanks
Ray

My best advice is to put the car in reverse and use a volt meter to ground to see which is "hot" (positive). Most bulbs (this does not apply to LEDs or EL panels)) do not "care" about polarity. However, a lighting socket may.

I searched the web, looking for GM color codes, but found none for the tail lamp assembly.

The Corvette service manual page 8-419 shows the L-Gn is postive and the BK is ground.

Thanks! I need to get a set of those myself. I looked all over the web for him, but could not find the answer.

I hate to ask but could you please provide the same data for the brake lights?

The 2006 manual page 8-491 shows D-GN and BK.

FWIW, Backup light are on 8-493 in the 2006 manuals.
