It would be considered "a waste of money" to some people to buy a 50,000 sports car and not take it to the track, or just abuse it a little, different strokes for different folks is all

Thanks for the feedback!
I very much appreciate all of the feedback and I hopefully did not start a war between C5 and C6 owners. All of this info has given me some great ideas for my C6. Thanks to all of you!

C6 - a very refined smooth pkg that is only a little firmer in Z51 trim and comes very close to a C5 - Z06 but doesnt really feel like it .
C5 - Z06 is a little faster, a little rawer, and feels much faster.
This is not a critism of the C5-Z06 or the C6. Each have their good points.
I ended up buying a Focus ZX3 over a much more refined and faster Mazda3 as a commuter car a few years ago simply because the ZX3 was much more fun to drive because of a more visceral feel.
