Attentin DBS detectives.........
DBS is simply an electrical GREMLIN within the 05' MN6 ECM, or wireing harness. I have read so many posts on this issue, that, quite frankly, I'm not sure what to believe. GM really needs to fess up to the issue, & in my opinion, resolve the issue once & for all.
Take Care
Thanks for your response! But, boy, oh, boy, my $50,000 Corvette MIGHT start tommorrow! What a relief after reading every post on the DBS issue, & still have no confidence whatsoever. (No start once again about 2 weeks ago). I Read with much interest, the recent post from GM. Quite frankly, a buch of BS!! If in reverse, no & warnings, the car should start ALWAYS!!
Thanks for All You Do Attempting to resolve this CRITICAL Issue.

I have not had DBS in well over a year now, maybe just luck, or maybe my 'theory' below might hold some water, as some others have been successful with it. I also don't use a battery tender or prioritystart module, and my original delco battery remains in place.
My theory post #6:

The latest is that GM may be working more on problems waking up the system and killing the battery, as opposed to problems with the system initially going to sleep, like in my theory. We're still awaiting more info...
