Strange Event While Charging Battery
I just got my new C6 yesterday, and after the approximately 20 mile drive home from the dealer, I put a charger on the battery while doing some other things to the car.
Initially it showed a charge of close to 6 amps. After about an hour, the rate of charge was about 4 amps.
Shortly thereafter, I noticed that the green start light was illuminated in the start button. There was no fob near the car, and the doors had not been opened.
I got the fob, got in the car, pushed the Acc position on the switch, and the light went out.
I opened the door to get out and the green start light illuminated again.
I took the fob away and put it where it could not communicate with the car, but the light remained on.
When I disconnected the battery charger, things returned to normal.
Also, when the green light was on the amperage on the charger increased about 1/2 an amp.
In my state of consternation, I did not attempt to start the car with the fob removed and green light on.
Any ideas on this one?

Get used to the electronic gremlins. Mine does all sorts of goofy stuff. Presently, it's sitting in the garage with a dead battery, waiting for my wife to get home with the charger.
