HUD display gone! Help!!!

Has anyone found a solution/cause to this other than a trip to the dealer! The diplay turned blue showing all icons, then dissapeared entirely. Anyone?

Ceertain sunlight angles can cause this effect, but you've got to get the angles just right and it only lasts a few moments. C5 was much worse.

If was working and just disappeared, I'm guessing it's fried and a trip to the dealer is your only recourse. But before doing that, have you pressed the MODE button a few times and or the +/- buttons to see if the system didnt' accidently turn itself off?? The C6 has many more gremlins than the C5 and odd things happen for no reason from time to time.

The display on my C5 burned out, and Fichtner Chevrolet replaced it without a single scratch, ding, nick, or rattle. A competent service technician should have no problem.

Sounds like a goner!
But try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes, maybe, just maybe, something might reset...

This is why I prefer the gauges.The more stuff or options you have the more problems you will have.
HUD it is just another expensive option to go wrong to get you back into the dealership.
