MAF electronics question
I just received my Zip Corvettes C6 catalog. On page 18 they show an aftermarket MAF sensor that claims to flow more air than the stock version, etc. the part I found most interesting was, "..while state-of-the-art electronics offer improvements to ignition and injector timing both."
this leads me to wonder, if the MAF sensor electronics plays such a part in 'ignition' and 'injector timing' and it has also been said that the C5 Z06 is the same as the C6 (base/non Z06) version. Does anyone know if the electronics are the same in both mafs, c5 z and c6, or does one version have 'improved' settings. would using the c5 z06 maf on the c6 result in performance improvements.

i didn't mean to imply an aftermarket maf. i was asking about the gm c5 z06 maf. i had heard somewhere that it was the same size but didn't know if /how well it would work.
