It seems that everyone that bought a Callaway shifter is happy with it. Can anyone tell me how much shorter the throws are? By what percentage would be easiest I think. Thanks.

Can't give you a percentage, but here are pictures of the shifters.
The first has a threaded stick for our polished, red, black or blue *****.
The second is designed to use the OEM **** or replacement.

I've had one on my car since I first purchased it - don't hesitate purchasing one! I enjoy it everytime I hop into the car...
While I would like the shorter throw of the Callaway, what I'm looking for is more positive gates. I find myself occasionally hitting the wrong gear when upshifting or downshifting quickly.

Does the Callaway help this problem?
Yes, the Callaway is somewhat notchier, very positive shifts, especially 1-4. Very happy with it
Any chance they will be doing installs at Carlyle?

Oh Gary,
If old fumble fingures here could install it, you can do yours. Only problem is that my cigarette lighter & driver's side seat heater dosen't work now. I printed out the step by step inst, posted by Lager99 6-8 mos ago and took it out to the garage. 2 hrs plus I changed shift boots and E-Break boots. MOMO Boots & MOMO Shift ****.
Had hands on the Calloway Shifter last year at Carisle and loved it. Buy it & do it. If you can't install take it to Ben - Ben can do anything

When you say Ben can do it, do you think I'll just lose my lighter and seat heater, or am I looking at pushing the thing home?
With all the respect in the world for both of you old deck apes,
