Default Head Specs

Hey guys,

I would like to order heads for my car & I need the specifications for them . Some people told me that I need the 2.02" stainless one piece intake valves, and 1.57" exhaust valves !!
But I need the chamber size ?? how many cc for the compression??

(I am running 98 Octane fuel on my car)

And those mods are already on my car:
  • Halltech air intake
  • Dynatech LT headers with high flow cats
  • Corsa exhaust
  • Cheatr Cam
  • NGK TR6 spark plugs
  • 100 Shot NOS

And I need to upgrade my heads so I need to know what specs are the best for me ?

Thanks alot ..

Regards,
Al Tamimi

Hi Al,

I would suggest staying with a 60-61cc chamber, this will give you roughly 11-11.5:1 compression on a stock LS2 engine.

If you need any help, please feel free to contact me.
Thanks,
Ed

Corvette Racing:
Yes, bigger valves are good for nitrous. Someone mentioned not going over $ 1,500 and that is right. Beyond this point, I can only recommend to you whom I would contact. Next Level 1(407) 869-7223 LPE 1(206) 724-2552, Cartek 1(908) 317-4496. At my track these are the standouts. Tom from Next Level knows the best tuners in Dubai.
If it was my car, I would want it not to depend on NOS to be real fast. A monster with NOS. Be careful though. Good luck.

Aha, thanks for the info.

But the Lingenfelter CNC ported heads are charging for the core charge ?

Is there a chance to get the heads without a core charge ??

Thanks alot ..
