Recommended torque setting for tire sensor nut
I am getting ready to put sensors in a new set of wheels and tires and want to make sure I put them in correctly.
Thanks in advance

I don't have a service manual, but I've read two different specs in several different GM TechLink articles.
One article says 35 lb.-in. (3 lb.-ft.), and another says 62 lb.-in. (about 5.2 lb.-ft.).
In either case it's not a very great torque required, so be careful not to overdo it!
I hope somebody with the specific spec can answer, because I'd like to know the exact spec myself.
Are you using a new set of sensors, or are you swapping the sensors out of your old wheels?

After looking at the sensors and the nut I didn't think it required much torque. I wanted to make sure I didn't over do it. I was going to mount the sensors before taking the tires to be mounted. I didn't want some gorilla putting them in.
These are brand new sensors for a new complete set of wheels and tires. I got the new Chrome Z06 in stock size from Bob at House of wheels and a take off set of Z51 supercars.
Can't wait to get them on.
Thanks,
Kyle
