Amp placement?

Has anyone had problems with the placement of thier aftermarket stereo apm? So much heat is generated everywhere in the car. It will get hot enough on its own. Any suggestions?

My 6-way is mounted in the rear center of the trunk.

It is elevated slightly to allow air to pass underneath for cooling.

mine is mounted behind the passenger seat, havent had a problem with it at all.
