Default Exhaust fix

I have corsa sports and about to install headers. While apart, I would liken to correct an issue with the mufflers. (2006 C6, MN6)

They are fixed to a spring that allows some movement. The problem is, when you are driving, they jiggle around like a set of YKW's.

Anyone have a fix for this? I am thinking of a stainless bracket at top of springs to reduce movement.

These things are hypnotizing my freinds when they drive behind me.

Anyone?

How about a BRA!!!

Seriously,We need to take a closer look at the rubber mounting tabs....

I was just thinking.....wonder if maybe some polyurethene bushing could be modded there to decrease the Jiggling( although it is kinda exciting )

Not sure what you mean when you write "springs". The rear mounting for the mufflers on a C6 are a pair of rubber bushing bolted to the frame with two holes in each for the two pins on the mufflers. Unless the frame bolts have come loose, there shouldn't be any movement. Do you have some sort of non-stock mounting arrangement?

Ok, I took your advice. I rummaged through my wifes drawers and found an old nursing bra. All i did was pull the flaps open and "hang" the tips in the underwire and strapped to the existing frame mounts.

Works like a charm. Photos on the way.
