Not much. If you did a catback and intake, you would get a little, but not much and you would spend $1,500.

Probably not enough but long-tubes and a tune would probably get you about 30rwhp.

Headers will get you about 25 to 30 at the rear wheels

Get yourself a set of headers. It will set you up for any mod you do down the road. Don't bother with a cat back, there is no HP just added grunt.
To date I've spent $2,500 and have 87 extra HP so you are not far off from some decent power.

I do my own work, you will double the cost if you need to pay someone. You can do it yourself, it's not that difficult.

Probably alot more than you think. Dont waste money on headers, intake, exhaust and those nickle and dime mods. Juice it! JMO

cam...valve springs....hptuners.... and that is the best bang for 1500

A reasonably safe nitrous system is much more than that. Without protective devices...fuel pressure safety switch, window switch, heater to maintain A/F and a tune, your motor is on borrowed time. A bottle opener, WOT electronic switch, Shifter/activation button, guages....ect adds up fast. My system was closer to 2500 with everything (in parts). The 579 dollar system is a farce.

I respectfully disagree. I had my NX system with Gen X2 upgrade, TPS switch, and MSD digital window switch all for $1100+$300 for installation. You do not NEED a bottle opener, it is a nice to have item, but not necessary especially if you only use nitrous at the track. I had all the safety items FPSS, window switch, TPS, blowdown tube, purge, and heater. Like I said I am not discounting your experience but this is my experience.
